ecoCoolStore is designed to reach locations which conventional cold-chain infrastructure cannot.
The ecoHAB monocoque shell is delivered as a light, self-supporting and fully insulated unit via a light truck.
Its cooling equipment, thermal-storage modules, roof structure and solar components travel safely stowed inside the container itself.
At the destination, the equipment is unloaded first.
The empty shell is now light enough to be lowered from the transport vehicle using only small hydraulic jacks, ramps and rollers and a small winch
…and most important:
– without the necessity to have a crane on site.
The container is positioned on prepared foundation blocks or elevated supports.
Only then does the final installation of the ecoCoolStore container begin:
- Level and securely fix in place.
- Install the external cooling units and equipment
- Assemble the lightweight roof structure
- Mount the solar-PV system
- Position the latent-cold-storage tanks inside the unit (roof unit is pre-mounted)
- Connect the tank modules through water-tight push-fit quick-connect couplings
- Fill fluids and commission the system
This approach reduces transport volume, avoids dependence on heavy lifting equipment and allows local teams to participate directly in installation, servicing and future replication.
